Zulu-Ski Fishing Kayak

enquiries about the Zulu-Ski fishing kayak.
It is with regret and sincere apologies that I
inform you that the launch of the Zulu-Ski will be delayed for +-4
months due to a number of
economic factors and
the tragic death of Adriaan Bakker, the head designer and builder for
the rotational moulding company
commissioned to
create the Zulu-Ski. Adriaan was shot and killed in his home in Pretoria
on 19 May by armed robbers.
The Zulu-Ski project will now be taken over by
Fluid
Kayaks, world leaders in the manufacture of leisure and white water
kayaks.
Fluid Kayaks is
based in the Free State town of Parys on the edge of the Vaal River.
The company is headed by Celliers Kruger, one
of South Africa's most accomplished white-water
paddlers, who happened to be a mechanical engineer with an excellent
understanding
of fluid dynamics. He is the Managing Director of
Fluid and also the designer of Fluid's products, and his vision will ensure that
you
always get the cutting edge in kayak design.
Fluid Kayaks currently manufacture 18 different kayak
models with a new leisure model
currently under development and on track to
revolutionize single/twin type kayaking in Aug 09.
When I approached Celliers with the Zulu-Ski project, he immediately recognized
Fluid's need of an off-shore fishing specialist
kayak in their stable. He was very
impressed with the fluid dynamics and innovative deck design of
the Zulu-Ski and has agreed
to manufacture the Zulu-Ski with a
few aesthetic changes and a tweak or two to further improve speed,
stability and buoyancy.
I will be very much involved with getting the
Zulu-Ski in production and ensure that you get the ultimate fishing specialist
kayak
as promised, now with the back-up of an
internationally renowned company for further peace of mind. All
guarantees, promises and
statements on the
Fluid website will apply to the Zulu-Ski.
I realize that it might be too long for you to wait
and for this I sincerely apologize, but I can assure you that this will be
a great boat.

website will be live on 12 June 09 with a full range of Fluid Kayaks available
to you directly from the factory
and delivered to your door anywhere in SA.
